Local Fulfillment: Orders placed by 2 PM CST during business hours are eligible for same‑day store pickup or local delivery. Orders placed after 2 PM may still be fulfilled same day depending on volume/availability—call 817‑945‑5458 to confirm.
- Shipping Fulfillment:Â WE SHIP WEEKLY ON MONDAY & TUESDAY ONLY. Orders placed after 2PM CST on Monday will ship out the next week. For special circumstances, contact our store to arrange express or overnight shipping options.Â

Carrier & Packaging: We ship via UPS Ground in premium 1.5″ EPS foam‑lined boxes with dry ice. We vacuum-seal and flash-freeze your order for maximum freshness. We also utilize thermal bags and liners for long-distance shipments. We add a $15 flat handling fee to cover costs associated with packing and shipping. All charges are itemized and listed during the checkout process.Â

Transit Time: 1–3 business days (depending on weight, distance).

Express Options: 1‑Day, 2‑Day, and Overnight options available at checkout. Options subject to additional fees based on package weight, size, and shipping distance. Express shipments are packed with gel freezer packs, rather than dry ice.
Shipping limited to the 48 contiguous United States ONLY. No international sales or fulfillment permitted.
Product Quality Issues or Service Interruptions
Refunds or exchanges are handled on a case‑by‑case basis. Because our meats are perishable, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery to troubleshoot any issues. We will gladly refund or replace any spoiled, defective, damaged, or incorrect products—simply email info@themarketatoutpost.com with a description and photos if possible.
All orders are vacuum‑sealed, flash‑frozen, and packed with dry ice in insulated materials to protect against high temperatures. If your meat arrives partially or fully thawed but still cool to the touch, it remains safe to consume. You may notice slight discoloration in some cuts; this natural reaction to oxygen removal does not affect quality or flavor.
Weather, carrier delays, and high‑volume seasons (e.g., holidays) could extend delivery by 1–3 days. We’ll update you via email if delays occur.
Order Tracking
You’ll receive SMS or email notifications at every stage of your order’s journey. First, we’ll confirm your order and payment, then let you know once your meat is expertly cut, vacuum‑sealed, and packaged in our insulated box. Next, you’ll see an alert when we print your packing slip and shipping label, followed by a drop‑off notification as we hand your package off to UPS. From there, UPS will send real‑time tracking updates—please allow up to 24 hours for the first scan to appear.
